Congrats Sam and Liz! 💍 The plan was I had gotten this new light painting kit and wanted to test it out so we scheduled a shoot at the beach. They arrived early for a picnic and then we would do the photoshoot around sunset. As I was setting things up, Sam brought a box with a bouquet inside. We hoped that Liz would think it was food or something to do with the shoot. After he opened the box and gave her the bouquet he proposed. We had tried think of all the possibilities and I thought it was a good plan but there are always some unexpected elements. Even so it all worked out in the end :)

I’ve been thinking about a possible nuclear war and how that might come about. The insane Russian tv hosts are calling to use nukes but even Putin knows if he uses nukes in Ukraine it’ll be over for him. China would abandon him and he and Iran would not have much of a future. However, when Putin falls due to his upcoming military defeat in Ukraine, there may be chaos in Russia. I have a feeling Prigozhin -if he’s still alive- will make a move to take over. There is Kadyrov but he’s just a puppet. There is Navalny but he won’t outlive Putin I don’t think. There are some oligarchs, there is Shoygu (he won’t make it far) and Gerasimov has disappeared. Surovikin? Don’t think so. So who will replace Putin? And will he be insane enough to start a nuclear war? I feel like the chances are low but in the downfall of Russia, it may be a group like ISIS that ends up with some of the smaller tactical nukes, the ones carried on trucks, which can be captured and lost in the confusion. These are crazy times. Let me know who you think will replace Putin. PS I took this photo of a firework that reminds me of an atomic explosion 🎇
